Fostering support programs for seniors is a cornerstone of a culture of peace. At CPEC, we recognize the significance and value of caring for seniors and enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. While our activities are primarily centred around children and peace, we prioritize initiatives supporting seniors.
Our objectives include the following:
- Promoting the cultivation of a culture that emphasizes supporting and respecting seniors, which can be passed down through generations.
- Facilitating intergenerational communication through activities involving groups of children.
- Implementing effective methods of providing care for elderly individuals.
The programs on our agenda include the following:
- Collaborative programs that bring together children and grandparents, fostering mutual understanding and nurturing positive relationships.
- Encouraging grandparents to transmit their cultural heritage to younger generations.
- Developing and practicing comprehensive approaches to senior care.
- Undertaking support projects specifically designed to meet the needs of grandparents.
- Promoting the role of grandparents in fostering peace.
- Recognizing and appreciating the invaluable contribution of grandparents in exemplifying peaceful behaviours.
